A discovery, this is the way people have defined the experience of traveling along SURVIAL, since the landscapes surrounding this road, the local cuisine and the people you will find along this route are a boundless source of experiences.
The tourist route
The journey starts in San Juan de Marcona – Nazca and from there, landscapes reflecting the biodiversity of Peru can be seen, where populations holding millenary traditions, archeological zones and unique stories can be found.
The route continues by Puquio, Challhuanca, Abancay, Cusco and finally arrives at Urcos, which allows to connect two of the most important tourist zones in Peru: the Nazca lines and Machu Picchu.
This journey can be made in two days and one night, by completing the first stretch which connects Nazca to Challhuanca or Abancay, and on the second day we will get to Cusco. Each one of these stretches, correspondingly, has a series of legs and escape routes.
A human and family route
Along the way, you will find beautiful landscapes, as well as kind people, who will be glad to welcome you, besides entrepreneurial families, who are ready to assist the visitors.
This is the case of the Luna Alfaros, who have been working at the “El Panamericano” Restaurant for 20 years, and at the hotel with the same name for 17 years. Thanks to their kindness, the Luna Alfaros have gained the trust of their clients and anyone traveling along this route.
To date, their main client is namely our team, who have not only seen and contributed to making their business grow, but who have also become part of the Luna Alfaros.
You are kindly invited to travel along SURVIAL and thus, experience some days connecting with the nature and the people.
