In the context of the program Committed with the Future, and after a first training program oriented to the directors of the Graña y Montero Group, we have started the training plan for the executives and collaborators in this company.
Both programs aim to strengthen the ethical conduct of all our collaborators and to develop a constant alert in front of any suspect of bribery, which may result from their interaction with the different interest groups, such as suppliers, clients, partners, unions, among others; either on or off duty.
They´re really taking care of us, so that we can understand the concepts that we need to apply at work. We receive examples we can relate fast. For instance, we´ve been told that if a middleman is too effective at their work, and thus getting permissions sooner than the established time, that is an alert sign, a case that must be observed
During 2017, our collaborators will be taking specialized courses related to their areas and functions, such as:
- Basic course for anti-corruption
- Handbook of Networking with the Government
- Understanding Public Management from the private world
- Advanced course for anti-corruption
- Use of the tools for the Corporate Compliance program
- Applied training in policies and compliance management tools
The compliance program being implemented is raising the company level, as we´re not only being trained, but also instructed on how to use the tools, besides we´re constantly evaluated and assisted”
At Graña y Montero we have made the resolution to raise our management standards at all levels and from each one of our areas. In order to achieve this, our collaborators´commitment and awareness are the key elements.
