On Monday, July 16, 2018, the External Advisory Board, which was created to strengthen the Group’s risk and compliance management through its experience and analysis of the context, held its third meeting to analyze the company’s advances and make recommendations for the coming months.
Augusto Baertl, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Luis Díaz Olivero, Corporate General Manager, and Fernando Dyer, the Graña y Montero Group’s Corporate Risk and Compliance Manager, reported the results of the Compliance Program, among which the following stand out:
- The launch and implementation of a new Business Code of Conduct.
- The launch of the Due Diligence Policy and its application with regard to our customers, partners and suppliers.
- The operation of the Group’s internal control system.
The External Advisory Board acknowledged the company’s progress, which reflected the cultural change the company is undergoing to incorporate risk management as a linchpin of future business.
The External Advisory Board, whose members are Bárbara Bruce, Javier Tovar and Gemma Aiolfi, was formed from August to September 2017. Thanks to their experience in the business, legal and compliance sectors, respectively, the company receives complementary advisory services with an integral approach that further enrich our performance.
