Liquid hydrocarbon storage terminals are used to store fuel and keep it in optimal condition for distribution to service stations and/or industrial mining, fishing and cement consumers, among others.
In this regard, Grupo Graña y Montero is the leader in the supply of fuel for our country, since 45% of the market is distributed through our network of 10 liquid hydrocarbon storage terminals; in partnership with Oiltanking, the world’s leading storage company.
GMP is the company of Grupo Graña y Montero, which provides oil and gas reception, storage and dispatch services, and is responsible for carrying out inventory control, quality control and project management. All this under a clear commitment to safety, health, quality and environment.
Today we are the only independent company, that is, the only one that does not commercialize fuel and operates the most fuel storage terminals nationwide. In the north, we have operations in Eten, Salaverry, Chimbote and Supe; in the central region, in Callao; and in the south, in Pisco, Mollendo, Ilo, Cusco and Juliaca.
“We are proud to be part of the value chain that stores 45% of the fuel that moves the country and that is distributed to millions of Peruvians,” commented Reynaldo Llosa, General Manager of Graña y Montero Petrolera (GMP).
