The Graña y Montero Group has expressed its total collaboration with the interventions of the District Attorney’s Office, in regard to the projects that our company, along with other Peruvian companies, has taken part into as a partner with the Brazilian company Odebrecht.
Graña y Montero welcomes any action coming from the Public Ministry, aimed to clarify the truth on the corruption acts of Odebrecht. Likewise, Graña y Montero has reaffirmed that paying bribes to employees or officials, and/ or any other illegal activity is not part of our company policies and procedures.
The G&M Board has firmly expressed that they are not protecting and will not protect any individual who may have been involved in corruption acts. In that sense, our company is ready to take any corresponding legal action against any individual, employee, official or former employee, who may have damaged the company by committing any illegal act.
Seeking the truth is the best mechanism to safeguard our company and its workers; thus we have presented and reaffirmed several times that we are fully available to collaborate with the investigations, as we are aware that transparency and integrity constitute the best assets in a company.
