At Graña y Montero, we have always had a vision: to become the most trusted engineering, construction, infrastructure and real estate company in Latin America.
This, in addition to our commitment to bring about welfare and progress in the community, as well as to be an agent of change and a role model for management in Latin America, has prompted us to take actions over the years to help us achieve these objectives. One of these actions is our Code of Business Conduct, which was launched in the year 2012 and has now been updated for success in a new era of business.
This new code was established with a commitment to honor our legacy, to continue building relations of trust with our stakeholders and to work to actively promote the development of the countries where we operate.
Our Code of Business Conduct establishes guidelines on the conduct expected of every member of the Graña y Montero Group, who will receive training without exception. It includes practical parameters for safety, personnel management, relations with the government, fair competition, donations and gifts, among other matters.
On what is our new code based?
The Code of Business Conduct is based on the corporate values that have always distinguished Graña y Montero’s work: reliability, quality and efficiency, to which the values of responsibility and safety have been added.
The value of safety refers to the interest we show in people and their safety throughout our operations. Responsibility is directly related to our commitment to conduct ourselves properly and assume the consequences of our acts.
We invite all of our employees, suppliers, customers and partners to familiarize themselves with our new Code of Business Conduct and to be a part of the new era of Graña y Montero in the country.
