Concar S.A., a subsidiary of the Graña y Montero Group, has been awarded the “Routine management and maintenance by levels of service of the Ático – DV. Quilca – Matarani – Ilo and Punta de Bombón – DV. Cocachacra – Emp. Pe – 1S road corridor” project to be carried out between Arequipa and Ilo. The contract on the project covers management and maintenance of the abovementioned road corridor.
Proyecto Especial de Infraestructura de Transportes Nacional (Provías Nacional), an entity under the Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MTC) that provides road infrastructure throughout the country, will be responsible for supervising the project.
According to the terms of the agreement, the project will require activity totaling approximately S/ 32.4 million plus sales tax over a 3-year period.
