We know that Lima is a city with considerable traffic congestion. Therefore, with the objective of reducing the need for constant commuting, the real estate industry is encouraging the development of mixed projects, which consist of the integration of commercial spaces that promote different types of activities among the public.
In response, a team of more than 180 people is working on the last phase of the first VIVA GyM mixed project: Strip Plaza Callao in the industrial area of Callao (intersection of Avenida Argentina and Avenida Santa Rosa), next to the Parques del Callao residential condominium, which was also built by the real estate development company.
What does the project consist of?
- During the first three months of the project, the GyM team in charge dedicated its efforts to earth moving, retaining walls and ground improvement.
- During the two following months, they worked on the structure of the three-story building and a basement, with a design that included the future construction of a fourth floor.
- Although the upper floors were turned over yesterday, January 16, today the last adjustments and finishings are being completed in order to turn over the entire project by the end of this month.
Renzo Castañón, the project resident (GyM), emphasized that it was necessary to turn over the shell in the month of October 2018 for the implementation of an educational institution, one of the spaces the Strip Mall Plaza will have. With detailed planning and optimization of resources, the milestone was reached satisfactorily.
¡Projects like the Strip Mall Plaza demonstrate the company’s ability to meet innovative new challenges that contribute to Peru’s development!
